Assigning activity to a project/task
Assigning the time you spent on a particular activity is made easy with Time-Aid. However, it is important to first understand that you are not assigning activities to folders, rather you are assigning a specific amount of time to a project. In this way Time-Aid priorities your activities within each time block making it easy to determine what you spent the most time on in that block.
To assign a timeblock to a project, click and hold the the timeblock on the lefthand side of the main window and drag it using the cursor to the appropriate folder on the righthand side of the window. You can assign multiple time blocks simultaneously using the "Ctrl" key, or "Shift" keys when selecting time blocks.
When time is assigned, a small colored circle and the project name will appear in the top line of the time block.
To unassign a timeblock, right clicking on the block and select "unassign."
Note: It is also possible to assign timeblocks to multiple projects, allowing double billing.
