Its one thing to put numbers on a timesheet or into a project management grid, however unless they are accurate, then what's the point? So many businesses critical systems rely on employee activity data. There are often very sophisticated (and expensive) systems to analyze, slice and dice, report and optimize based on this input. But, GIGO (garbage in - garbage out) wins every time, regardless of the system.
Time-Aid solves this. Its automatic log is always running. Users works as usual. All activities are timed to the second, and the system highlights the areas of focus and hides the 'noise'. The time-block grid and underlying systems, consolidates all the user's activity into a time block, and puts the items of greatest duration at the top and hides those that are of no significance.
Users can select time blocks of 5, 6, 10, 15 and 30 minute durations, and they can chose to display 1, 2, 4 or 8 lines of activity. As a result of this process, users can clearly see the most significant things they did in a given time block, and see it in the context of the familiar day planner view.
From this familiar view, users simply drag and drop time blocks, knowing exactly what they did in that time frame. There is no guessing, or remembering or researching. The system tells the user what they were doing and the user simply assigns that activity appropriately.
All user activity is timed to the second, with no input required.
